School Thirteen, the Athenia School of Clifton, is a school that upholds three universal principles: truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. At School Thirteen, we believe that every child has the ability to learn, and will learn best in a positive, respectful, and happy environment. It is our mission to meet students' individual needs and encourage their achievement of realistic goals.
SCHOOL #13 NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
At the end of October, our third
grade had the opportunity to participate in the St. Barnabas
Fire House Safety program. The children review with the fire
officials safety procedures that includes the entire home
from kitchen to bedroom. This is an outstanding program! A
huge thank you to Mrs. Liszner for helping to coordinate
At School Thirteen, October is
Soctober! Please donate socks of every shape, color and size
during the month. They will be donated to Red Cross.
On Patriot's Day we wear our red,
white, and blue. We gather together as a whole community to
say the Pledge of Allegiance, to sing, and to have a moment
Our first days of school have been
wonderful...even in the heat! Thank you to families getting
all the children to school on time. Thank you also for
respecting our 'Kiss and Go' policy making the playground a
safer environment. Looking forward to our Back to School
Night on September 23rd. These pictures of our first day
together represent the excitement of our new year!
