Clifton School 12 Receives $5000 from Burlington Stores

Burlington Stores, the national discount retailer, through its partnership with the national non-profit organization,, has donated $5,000 towards school supplies to Clifton Public School 12 in celebration of its new store opening at Botany Plaza, 24 Barbour Ave, Space 300B Passaic, NJ 07055

A representative from contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for School 12 which will provide $5,000 in new supplies in classrooms, the media center, and art rooms.

School 12 Principal Rosmunda Kenning said the teachers will use the funds on new classroom items which comes in particularly handy after Hurricane Ida damaged portions of School 12.

“On behalf of the Clifton Public School District and School 12 I would like thank Burlington Stores and for their generous donation to our school,” said Mrs. Kenning. “Our teachers are eager to purchase the supplies necessary for their classrooms this year. “We are grateful to Burlington Stores and Adopt-A-Classroom for choosing Clifton Public Schools as the recipient of such a generous donation,” said Dr. Danny A. Robertozzi, Superintendent of Clifton Public Schools.  “This gesture is a true testament to our communities coming together in support of public education.
